DUBAI // The UAE has condemned today's terrorist attacks in Brussels, which are reported to have claimed the lives of at least 21 people and left many more injured.
A statement released by Dr Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, expressed the UAE's condemnation of "these cowardly terrorist acts, which targeted innocent civilians" and reiterated the UAE's "determined stance and rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism which targets all races and religions indiscriminately", reported Wam, the state news agency.
Dr Gargash emphasised the UAE's solidarity with the Belgian government and people out of its firm position of rejecting all forms and manifestations of terrorism regardless of motivation and justification, wherever, whenever and by whomever they are committed.
He called for concerted efforts by the international community to work at eradicating all forms of terrorism and expressed its condolences to the Belgian government and people, wishing the wounded a speedy recovery.
