Dezeen promotion: Dezeen has teamed up with London's Design Museum to give readers a 25 per cent discount on tickets for this year's Designs of the Year exhibition (+ slideshow).
Now in its eighth year, the exhibition coincides with the Design Museum's annual awards programme and is taking place on the top floor gallery space in the institution's building on Shad Thames.
A mushroom-based modelling kit and a concept for clearing litter from the ocean are among 76 projects exhibited in categories including architecture, digital, fashion, graphics, product and transport design.
The winners in each of these categories were announced in May. Google's self driving car, Central Saint Martins graduate Thomas Tait's Autumn Winter 2013 collection and a concrete university building in Santiago were among the awarded projects.
An overall winner will be chosen as Design of the Year 2015 at an event later this summer.
London-based designer Benjamin Hubert created the display plinths and wall mounts for the 2015 exhibition.
Designs of the Year runs until 23 August 2015, and as Dezeen are media partners for the event – readers can receive a 25 per cent discount by entering the code DEZ25 when purchasing a ticket online.
