ISTANBUL // Two explosions have rocked Istanbul's Ataturk airport, wounding multiple people, according to a Turkish official.
The official said it was unclear whether the explosions were caused by bombs alone or suicide bombers.
A witness told broadcaster CNN Turk that gunfire was heard from the car park at the airport, which is Turkey's largest. Taxis were ferrying wounded people from the airport, the witness added.
Turkey has suffered several bombings in recent months linked to Kurdish militants and ISIL.
